Welcome to Indiana Care Select
|
The State of Indiana has created a care management program, Care Select, to serve the population of the aged (excluding the dual eligible members), blind, physically and mentally disabled, members who get room and board assistance, members on M.E.D. Works, and children receiving adoptive services, members receiving select non-disabled home and community based services (HCBS) and members receiving select non-institutional hospice services. The Indiana Care Select Program is designed to improve the member's health status, enhance quality of life, improve client safety, client autonomy and adherence to treatment plans and control fiscal growth. The Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) contracts with Care Management Organizations (CMOs) for the responsibilities of performing the care management, authorization, and manage utilization of physical, behavioral, and transportation of its membership. The care of Care Select members enrolled in the CMO is managed by the CMO through its network of PMPs, specialists, and other providers of care who contracted on behalf of the State by the CMO. The State's contracted CMOs are ADVANTAGE and MDwise. Care Select members are linked to a Care Select-enrolled PMP, who provides and arranges for most of the members' medical care. ¡Atención!
